Lord’s to welcome the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2026

The emblematic Lord’s Cricket Ground will host the Women’s Women’s World Cup final extended on July 5, the International Cricket Council announced on Thursday. The 12 -team tournament will start on June 12 and will have 33 games, culminating in a grand final in Lord’s, which also hosted the 2017 Odi Women’s World Cup final. In addition to Lord’s, six other sites will organize matches, including Old Trafford, Headingley, Edgbaston, Oval, Hampshire Bowl and the Ground of Bristol.
The tournament will set out two groups followed by a direct elimination scene. The detailed calendar will be announced in due time.
Eight teams, including Australia, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa and the Antilles, have already qualified. The remaining four points will be decided through the qualification for the T20 World Cup of the ICC in 2025.
